Magento eCommerce Website for Urban Vintage
Urban Vintage is an award winning independent menswear fashion retailer and a favourite destination for the fashion conscious individual.
I was commissioned by Urban Vintage to redevelop their eCommerce website. Google Analytics showed a significant proportion of the online traffic was from mobile devices. Therefore, in addition to creating a creating a “look and feel” suitable for the target customers, the redesign needed to provide an optimised user experience on mobile devises. This was achieved by developing a bespoke responsive theme.
Information on Garment Care, Delivery and Returns is included on the product page within an “accordion”, so it’s readily available to customers if needed without creating a distraction from the buying process. The product details page also includes a “More from this Brand” section to encourage customers to add related items to their basket.
The checkout is secured and shows the padlock icon, to reassure customers that it’s safe to enter their payment details. It gives customers a choice of PayPal and Sagepay payments gateways. The checkout also includes a Click-and-Collect facility, targeted at local repeat customers.
